The disused railway is an alternative route between Sovata and Praid for hikers at least - cyclists have to put up with a few kilometres on a busy main road.
The verge vanishes at the level crossing - this busy main road is the Via Transylvania hiking and cycling route. Pretty rubbish.
The verge of this busy main road is the Via Transilvanica hiking and cycling route - not good enough.

[Image taken 1.4.23] Skeldergate/Terry Avenue, York. Two potholes and other tarmac damage. The mouth of this road is very narrow. It's also an exit. It's very well used - it leads to/from Terry Avenue, is part of NCN65, serves Rowntree Park

192435 The Gibraltar Airport tunnel opened in March 2023 to take all vehicular traffic. There is “a separate subway to provide a safe route for pedestrians [and] cyclists”, but people travelling on foot or by bike can continue to cross the runway along Winston Churchill Avenue (except when planes are landing or taking off). With motorised traffic diverted, this enticing experience should be much more peaceful. Work began on the tunnel in 2008, but was delayed for five years due to litigation on the quality of construction.

192320 Very busy junction during school drop off and pick up times. Lots of pedestrians which should have right of way crossing this junction but drivers do not relent. More education of the highway code and signage required.
192319 The school entrance is very dangerous with cars swinging into Belle Friday Close at speed. Need them to slow down and give families priority crossing
